“Enter a new world” I could start by describing the Way Inn by mentioning the attention to detail that creates an entrance to another world; that every door is handcrafted and the tile work gorgeous... I could describe the fresh delicious salads and meals created by Rony and that would be true too. But none of it holds a candle to the warmth and welcome by your hosts, Gita and Rony Bar El. Gita knows every amazing person in Tsfat and loves to create connections. Let her know your interests and she will make your stay beyond your dreams! I stayed there with a group of 19 people and every one of us can't wait to go back!

“Great for Small Groups to Stay, Eat, and Study together with a great View !” Food amazing, rooms very well appointed and great open spaces with great views. Lecture/ small performance space wonderful for small groups.

The Way Inn served spectacular food, fresh and delectable with spices, and the hostess and chef left me with memories for a life time. We started out on the roof for drinks and a beautiful sunset. Then we entered the area for dining designed for a queen. We heard a one woman play by Genine our hostess that made us laugh and feel at home. The Way Inn is a must experience to include on your itinerary. What a shame we didn't know of them or we would have stayed the two nights we spent in Tzfat.

We came for a weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday. Altogether we were 14 people, so we reserved 4 suites. The place is gorgeous! Each room is different, all of them are large, lots of room, and they have paid a let of effort in all of the small details. The staff was very helpful, always asking and making sure that things are just fine. The price includes breakfast, and they served us lots of salads, breads etc. a real treat! Highly recommended!

I just want to thank you and your husband for such an incredible evening at your lovely home. The food was delicious and the ambience was breathtaking. The musicians made the evening even more special. I will most definitely recommend your hospitality to others. Thank you for all of your help.

You have both been incredible.  We are so appreciative! I was on the second Emunah cooking mission.  I just celebrated my 50th birthday and I have to tell you that to date- one of the best meals I ever had was a picnic spread prepared by Rony in a garden overlooking an archeological excavations.  I do not remember the details of the place, but I still remember what it felt like to eat outdoors on china, on a real tablecloth in Israel, all prepared by our own personal chef.  It was amazing! So on a personal note, I feel privileged to have received your email.  It is our honor to include you both in the Emunah cookbook (due to be released July 2008). Thanks so much again!

Dear Genine and Rony, First I want to thank you for creating one of the most memorable,meaningful experiences of our recent Legislative Mission to Israel.  Being able to share Shabbat dinner in your home was a wonderful treat and gave the lawmakers a glimpse of Jewish life that could not be replicated in a hotel. Wine and dine in Zfat. The BarEl family has a lovely home, walking distance to the synagogues and the Rimon Inn.  They host groups for lunch or supper.  The food is superb - a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach. Dear Genine and Rony, Thank you for the most incredible Bar Mitzvah ever! We are still on a high from our wonderful weekend in Safed.  When people ask me how the Bar Mitzvah was, I am truly at a loss for words, because it was -- in every way (spiritually, aesthetically, culinarily) -- beyond anything I could ever have imagined. Everyone (American and Israeli alike) left Safed totally amazed at how perfectly every detail of the weekend had been executed, but of course --- that is all attributable to you.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart for building us through the planning of the weekend and for making Jonathan's Bar Mitzvah so absolutely beautiful from start to finish.
